Know what you are growing
This hardwood-based prepared substrate format is intended for growers adding a compatible gourmet culture or spawn through an appropriate clean-work method. The proposed dry recipe is 90% hardwood sawdust and 10% wheat bran before hydration.
Supplementation increases nutritional availability and also makes correct processing important. A hydrated, sealed bag is not automatically sterile. Supplier processing, moisture specifications and compatibility must be confirmed before retail supply.
