This kit format combines a colonized 3 lb hardwood-based fruiting block, a protective carton and a species-specific growing guide. You begin at the fruiting stage rather than mixing substrate or adding culture.
Side-fruit through a small opening. Maintain humidity while allowing fresh air; do not aim a drying fan directly at the cluster. Harvest while the teeth are pale and the tissue is firm.
