Made for the right stage.
For growers who want to start before the fruiting stage, this Lion’s Mane all-in-one mushroom grow bag pairs hydrated grain with a wood-based fruiting substrate in a single filter-patch container. Its proposed 5 lb format uses approximately 1 lb of hydrated rye grain and 4 lb of hydrated fruiting substrate, kept as distinct portions before mixing.
The fruiting-substrate formulation is 80% hardwood sawdust + 20% wheat bran (dry fruiting-substrate fraction). The ratio describes the dry fruiting-substrate ingredients, not the final wet bag or grain fraction. Water is added to suit the materials and processing method.
Colonize before side-fruiting. Sparse-looking Lion’s Mane mycelium can be normal; appearance alone does not establish that a culture is clean.
A species name identifies the intended formulation, not a culture already inside the bag. Confirm the final supplier’s processing and batch details before inoculating. Clean technique remains necessary; this listing makes no sterility or contamination-proof claim.

Is this bag already colonized?
No. It is an uninoculated grain-and-substrate bag. A compatible culture is required, then colonization must complete before fruiting.
Is culture included?
No. Use a suitable gourmet culture from a reputable supplier, matching the species and the bag supplier’s inoculation instructions. Colonized grain spawn is not interchangeable with an injection-port liquid-culture method.
Does Lion’s Mane need any special steps?
Colonize before side-fruiting. Sparse-looking Lion’s Mane mycelium can be normal; appearance alone does not establish that a culture is clean.
Are the 2-bag and 4-bag packs different products?
No. They are quantity options for this same species formulation and are not counted as separate catalog products.
Is the bag certified sterile or guaranteed to fruit?
No such claim is made. Supplier processing and batch documentation must be confirmed before supply, and cultivation outcomes depend on technique and conditions.
